Skype has joined the likes of Facebook, Twitter and Snapchat in becoming yet another communication tool disappearing in China.
The New York Times was the first to report that the video calling software has been unavailable in China for nearly a month.
It doesn't show up on app download sites or on Apple's App Store.
While the app is no longer available for download, it hasn't been entirely banned in the country.
A spokesman for Microsoft said they're "working to reinstate the app as soon as possible."
